Certified Master Dog Trainer
Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Graduate of the University of Arkansas in Animal Science
Trainer Abigail attended the Tom Rose School for dog trainers that has been training dog trainers for over 50 years. While there she had the privilege to be taught by Dave van Garderen and Jeremy Ciepluch. She was taught the skills to train advanced obedience, behavior modification, tracking, service dog, and police K9 work. Since then Abigail has attended seminars for dog trainers to extend their education. Her top seminars she would recommend would be Johnathan Katz or Pat Nolan.
Once she obtained her two dog trainer certification she attended the University of Arkansas. Where she has done in depth work in animal husbandry, nutrition, animal welfare, enrichment, and genetics. While in college she had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand to put what she had learned so far in college to work. While there she studied husbandry practices for their farm animals and conservation practices for their wildlife.
Once she was back she created a program that taught wolves in captivity, through positive reinforcement, how to be more comfortable for vet check ups. Keeping the wolves and people safe.
Before she graduated from the U of A she did one more internship. She worked at a facility that focused in providing the pet food industry with sound nutrition research.
Abigail loves training dogs and brings that passion to work with her everyday.
When talking about trainer Abigail, we must also highlight her two dogs who played a crucial role in launching her training journey. They helped demonstrate her skills while she attended dog trainer school! They accompanied her during her college graduation and have been by her side at every milestone as she built this company.
